Importation  

·        Dogs and Cats less than 4 months old are not allowed to enter the country.

·        Import permit must be obtained from ministry of agriculture 15 days before arrival of your pet otherwise they will not be allowed to enter into the country.

·        Original export health certificate issued by government authority of exporting country has to accompany with the imported animal.

·        Original rabies vaccination certificate clearly showing vaccine sticker in witch batch number, date of manufacture and expiry, name of manufacturing company and country are mentioned.

·        Dogs and Cats should be within ( 11) month validity period of the vaccine.

·        Animal will be quarantined for 6 months if the veterinary authority is not satisfied with condition of the animal health or certificate.

·        Dogs should be registered at the Muscat airport quarantine office.
